Neighborhood:
Leeuwensteyn is a friendly neighborhood mostly occupied by families. People want to get to know you and make you feel welcome. It has all facilities nearby. The surrounding area offers numerous catering establishments. There are also various schools and sports clubs nearby. You can just walk out of the house and spot ships sailing the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal (channel). At 1 kilometer there is the Leidsche Rijn centre which has all the stores you need. It's close to the train station Leidsche rijn (1km) and the Utrecht central station (3,3km). Nearby is the entry of the highway A2 which takes you to Amsterdam.
Particularities:
\* Minimum rental period of 12 months (contract), but preferable long term mindset for 3 years renting
\* Income requirement: gross monthly salary is at least 3x the monthly rent
\* Rent is excluding heating (electric), water, electricity, internet/ TV (glass fiber) and municipal taxes
\* Rent is including the VvE costs (association of owners)
\* Currently the heating/electricity combined is 20 euro per month. This will probably be around 50 euro per month because of new policy about solar panels and return allowance.
\* No pets allowed
\* Smoking is not permitted (in the house)
\* House sharing is not allowed
\* The property will be rented with specific maintenance instructions for fragile materials in the house
\* Upon owners approval
\* Deposit equals two months rent
